  • To send transactional email (welcome emails, password resets, billing notices) – performance of the contract.
  • To send occasional product and course updates – your consent, which you can withdraw anytime via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
  • To keep the Platform secure and prevent abuse, such as account sharing or scraping – our legitimate interest in protecting the service.
  • To improve courses and the Platform using aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns – our legitimate interest.
  • To comply with law, including tax and accounting requirements – legal obligation.

No profiling or automated decisions

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Course recommendations on the Platform are editorial or based on simple, transparent rules such as category and popularity.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Platform and who process it on our instructions: Stripe (payments), our hosting and content-delivery providers (including Cloudflare), our email delivery provider, and our newsletter provider (Mailchimp) if you subscribe. We may disclose data where required by law, to tax authorities, or to courts. A current list of processors is available on request.

International transfers

We are based in India and some providers process data in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. Where data moves across borders, we rely on our providers standard contractual safeguards and certifications.

Retention

We keep account and purchase data while your account exists and as required for tax and accounting. If you delete your account we remove or anonymise personal data within a reasonable period, except records we must keep by law, which are kept blocked and used only where legally required.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interest, opt out of marketing, request portability, or withdraw consent (which does not affect processing already carried out). Email [email protected] marked “Data request” – please include enough information for us to verify your identity. We respond within 30 days; for complex requests this may be extended, and we will tell you if so. If you are in India, requests under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act go to the same address. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country of residence.

Your responsibilities

You must be at least 18 to register or use the Platform. Please keep the data on your account true and up to date, and only provide third-party data (for example when recommending us to a colleague) with their knowledge and permission.
