Terms and Conditions

Effective date: September 6, 2026

Welcome to RTF Academy. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of academy.re-thinkingthefuture.com (the “Platform”), operated by Rethinking Internet Media Private Limited (“RTF Academy”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or using the Platform you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Refund Policy, which form part of them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to register, purchase a membership, or use the Platform. The Platform is not available to persons under 18. This age requirement is a contractual condition of the service, and we may suspend accounts that do not meet it.
  • You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated. You are responsible for the truthfulness of the details you provide and for all activity under your account.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential. Accounts are personal: one account may be used on one device at a time, signing in on a new device signs you out elsewhere, and account sharing is not permitted.
  • We may request reasonable verification (for example of student status where relevant) and may suspend accounts that fail verification or breach these Terms.

2. Memberships and plans

  • Professional plans include access to the full course catalog. Student plans include the student catalog (a subset of the library) at a reduced price and are intended for students and recent graduates. Studio plans include full-catalog access with multiple seats for teams; seats may not be shared beyond the licensed number.
  • Monthly plans include up to 3 lessons per day (revisiting a lesson already opened that day does not count). Quarterly and annual plans include unlimited daily learning.
  • RTF Mega Offer pricing: the price you subscribe at stays the same for as long as your subscription remains active without interruption.
  • We may add, update, retire, or replace courses and features at any time; your membership is access to the evolving catalog of your plan, not to any specific course.

3. Billing, renewal and payment

  • Memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly, quarterly, or annual) until cancelled. By subscribing you authorise us and our payment processor, Stripe, to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis.
  • You represent that the payment information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method. You authorise updates to your stored payment details supplied by our payment providers (for example a renewed card number).
  • Prices are shown in INR for customers in India and USD elsewhere. For customers in India, 18% GST is added at checkout on INR prices, and invoices carry our GSTIN; business customers may provide their own GSTIN at checkout. USD prices for customers outside India carry no Indian GST. Exchange-rate differences applied by your bank are outside our control.
  • We may change prices for future billing periods with prior notice; a price change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and an active uninterrupted subscription keeps its RTF Mega Offer price as described above. If you do not accept a notified change, cancel before your next renewal.
  • If a renewal charge fails we may retry it; we may suspend access while payment is outstanding.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel anytime; your access continues until the end of the paid period and you will not be billed again. Payments are non-refundable, as set out in our Refund Policy. By purchasing you request immediate access to digital content and acknowledge that any statutory right of withdrawal ends once access begins. No refund is due for accounts terminated for breach of these Terms, and misuse of billing or dispute processes may result in suspension of the account and denial of future service. If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us first at [email protected] – initiating a card chargeback without doing so may lead to account suspension while the dispute is reviewed.

5. Licence to use our content

  • All courses, videos, text, illustrations, artwork, and other materials on the Platform are owned by Rethinking Internet Media Private Limited or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
  • Your membership grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to stream and view content included in your plan, for your own learning, while your membership is active.
  • Copying and downloading are strictly prohibited. You may not download (except where a download feature is provided), copy, record, screen-capture, rip, redistribute, resell, sublicense, publicly screen, upload to any other platform, or otherwise make available any course, video, lesson, or other content, in whole or in part, by any means.
  • Unauthorised copying is against the law. Our content is protected by the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and international copyright treaties. Unauthorised reproduction, recording, or distribution constitutes copyright infringement and may expose you to civil liability for damages and, in serious cases, criminal prosecution. We actively monitor for piracy, and infringement results in immediate termination of your account without refund, in addition to any legal action we may take.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to attempt to:

  • use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation;
  • share accounts, resell access, or circumvent plan limits, device limits, or any access controls;
  • use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Platform, or harvest data or content from it;
  • copy, download, extract, or reproduce content from the Platform to create databases or collections of materials;
  • use any content from the Platform to train, develop, fine-tune, improve, or evaluate any artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system, whether directly or through datasets, even where content is publicly accessible;
  • introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code, probe or test the vulnerability of our systems, or interfere with the proper working of the Platform, including by denial-of-service attacks;
  • impersonate RTF Academy, its staff, or any other person, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
  • post or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, hateful, or harassing, including in reviews or comments.

We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, and may take technical and legal measures against scraping and automated extraction, including IP blocking.

7. Reviews and community content

If you post reviews, comments, or other content on the Platform, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and reproduce that content in connection with the Platform and its promotion. You are responsible for what you post; it must be your own, accurate, and lawful. We may moderate or remove user content at our discretion. Your interactions with other users are your own responsibility; we may intervene but are not obliged to.

8. Educational content, not professional advice

Courses are provided for general education. They are not a substitute for professional architectural, engineering, legal, financial, or other advice for any specific project or decision, and we make no promises about grades, licensure, career, or business outcomes.

9. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep the Platform available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform for maintenance, improvement, security, or operational reasons.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE PLATFORM AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Platform will be free of viruses or other harmful components; you are responsible for your own antivirus protection. Nothing in this section affects warranties that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory consumer law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our directors, employees, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Platform, even if foreseeable. Our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rethinking Internet Media Private Limited, its directors, and staff from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, your content, or your misuse of the Platform or its content.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms. Where the breach is serious – for example account sharing, scraping, content piracy, or payment abuse – termination may be immediate and no refund will be due. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including licences you granted, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity) survive.

14. Time limit for claims

To the extent permitted by applicable law, any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform must be commenced within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues, or it is permanently barred. This does not shorten any limitation period that cannot be reduced under the mandatory law of your place of residence.

15. General

  • Waiver and severability. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. If any provision is held invalid, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the rest of these Terms remain in effect.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganisation or transfer of the business.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the policies linked in them, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Platform.
  • Language. Where the Platform is offered in more than one language, the English version of these Terms prevails to the extent permitted by law.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. If mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence grants you additional rights or a different forum, those provisions are unaffected.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the Platform with a new effective date, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. For significant changes affecting active subscriptions we will give notice before your next renewal.
