Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: September 6, 2026

Our commitment

We want RTF Academy to be usable by everyone, regardless of ability or the assistive technology they use. Accessibility is part of how we design, build, and maintain the Platform, and we work with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, moving toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA over time.

Current status

The Platform is in a state of partial conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA: most pages and features meet the guidelines, while some content does not yet fully conform. We run an ongoing improvement programme to identify and fix accessibility barriers.

What we do

  • High-contrast text and a consistent, readable layout across the site.
  • Keyboard-navigable menus, filters, and pages.
  • Descriptive link text and alternative text on meaningful images.
  • Captions for video lessons are part of our production roadmap as new lessons are published.
  • Accessibility checks are part of our design and publishing process.

Known limitations

  • Some video lessons do not yet include full captions or audio description.
  • Certain legacy pages and third-party components (embedded players, checkout) may not meet every guideline.
  • If a document or material is not available in an accessible format, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an accessible alternative on request.

Compatibility with assistive technologies

The Platform is designed to work with widely used assistive technologies on up-to-date browsers and operating systems, including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnifiers, and high-contrast settings.

Feedback and requests

If you hit an accessibility barrier, need content in an alternative format, or have suggestions, contact us at [email protected] – please mention the page and the assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge accessibility requests promptly and respond within 15 business days with a resolution, an interim alternative, or a timeline.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may raise the matter with the accessibility or consumer-protection authority applicable in your country.
